More and more couples are being drawn to marry abroad. Do you know why? To save money! Whereas destination weddings used to be seen as a luxury, now the market has turned. In this blog post I elaborate on the pros and cons of a destination wedding...
Often brides and grooms can find better deals travelling abroad with their wedding party to celebrate the most special day of their life. With the UK wedding industry booming, venues are hiking up their prices. An average wedding is now £25.000 and more expensive than ever. At the same time air fares are dropping as the number of airlines have increased. To compete the airlines now offer (relatively) cheap flights around Europe and further afield, making it more affordable for guests to come and join your destination wedding.
So why not get your feet stuck in the sand or stand on top of a mountain saying "I do" to your loved one? What exactly are the pros and cons of getting married abroad?
Before making your decision it is worth having a good long think to see whether the pros outweigh the cons for you or not.
